Why do people like hollister so much?

i say its to show that you have money. it depends where you live because not everywhere do they wear hollister. its mostly considered preppy in the urban areas. for example sean jean and coogi are worn alot. but to me they are just worn because of the names. sean jean without the name on it would look like any other cheap shirt or jacket. coogi is ugly with the multicolor patterns but its "in" so alot of people wear it. to answer your question i would say that certain clothes are popular because of the name and if popular people wear it.
