What is your thoughts on Catholics calling themselves Christians?

I know we all have the same God, but their worship of Idols, Pope and value of tradition over scripture concerns me. Of course I love all people even though I do not like or agree with them, and pray for them constantly that they will see the true light, but is it right that they should all themselves 'christians' when they also pray to the Mary and saints, so against Christs teachings?
